What's included

Timing

Same-day turnaround on single-panel replacements where the posts have survived. Half-day extra where a post needs replacing (post concrete needs an overnight cure before the panel goes back on). After a named-storm night on the Thanet coast, expect a 3-5 day queue - I work through the callouts in booking order.

Margate-specific notes

The named-storm calendar. The Met Office name list runs from September to August. The Thanet coast catches the easterly members of the list disproportionately - any storm named with easterly track (Storm names starting on the Met Office list that arrive from the North Sea) will drop panel-count numbers of repair jobs on the CT9 seafront. If the forecast is showing 50+ mph easterly at Ramsgate on a Wednesday, expect a busy Thursday for me.

Holiday-let priority. Short-let landlords with a Friday changeover and a broken back fence on a Wednesday need a same-day fix or a Thursday morning turnaround. Flag "holiday let with turnover Friday" on the WhatsApp and I will priority-queue it if the schedule allows.

Insurance jobs. Named-storm damage is usually claimable on buildings insurance. Invoice includes the storm name, date, wind speed at Manston, and BS-standard timber spec used for the replacement - what the loss adjuster needs.

Pricing

Single-panel storm replacement: £75-110 supply and fit per panel where the posts have survived. Post replacement in an existing run: £95-140 per post including next-day cure. Callout charge on urgent same-day work under £100: minimum £75 to cover the trip. On larger jobs the minimum is absorbed into the metre pricing.
